EdiRange is a mobile companion application designed for Edimax smart Wi-Fi Extenders. These intelligent extenders are intended to address Wi-Fi connectivity issues by expanding wireless coverage to areas where your current signal cannot reach.

EdiRange offers a user-friendly solution for managing your smart extender and surveying your local Wi-Fi environment. It provides clear analytics to assist you in mitigating wireless interference from neighboring networks, thus optimizing performance for your wireless devices.

Furthermore, the app allows you to oversee the extender’s wireless network and functionalities, such as the guest network feature and Wi-Fi scheduling. The guest network function is particularly useful for maintaining privacy during gatherings or implementing parental controls for children by creating a separate Wi-Fi network that can be controlled independently.

An additional feature, "good night" mode, provides a convenient shortcut for deactivating the extender's Wi-Fi, allowing users to synchronize their extender's activity with their sleep schedule.

It is important to note that to ensure the proper functioning of EdiRange, it must be connected to the same Local Area Network (LAN) as your extender. In case of any connectivity issues, it is recommended to connect directly to your extender's SSID.
